Last week I had the pleasure of visiting the home of 10 day old baby Liberty India to take newborn photos. I was delighted when I arrived at mum & dad’s to be advised a little about the family’s history. It transpires that going back a few generations, there was indian ancestry in the family hence baby Liberty’s middle name. Mum had therefore chosen a beautiful brightly coloured garment to take some of Liberty’s photos in, plus invested in some tiny stick-on bindi’s! I hadn’t been presented with these at a newborn photoshoot before so loved seeing them stuck onto Liberty’s forehead! I do love creative people who come up with some great ideas and I’m always up for doing something different! Personally I loved the effect and I’m sure you’ll agree when you view the images captured.
Your Newborn Session
The baby always rules the photoshoot so if she’s hungry that’s fine …. I’m a huge fan of breast-feeding so if baby is hungry, that’s fine with me. There is never any pressure to hurry and get the session over with. Mum and dad are already shattered from being woken every few hours for a feed but although exhausting, the time flies by. It’s so important to record the precious first few weeks of life as little ones change so quickly. Liberty was an angel and performed perfectly. If you would like to arrange a newborn session for your new arrival, please visit my dedicated newborn page.
I hope you’ll enjoy seeing the type of images we can create for you and how beautiful Liberty is in the photos below:
Congratulations mum and dad on producing a beautiful daughter …. and hope you get some decent sleep soon! 🙂
