Yesterday afternoon, I had great fun with little Shelby and big brother Logan aged six. We started off at home as at that point it was raining (although we had plans to go out on location for our kids mini-shoot)! Having discovered Logan owned a couple of kilts, I thought a visit to the beautiful Usk Castle was a must!
Shelby aged three has Mosaic Down Syndrome. She doen’t yet walk unaided so shuffles around – at great speed I hasten to add – on her bottom! Due to the inclement weather and knowing she would want to go down on the floor, mum and dad decided it would be best to keep her at home so dad offered to babysit. Before leaving though, mum put Shelby in a gorgeous near-matching tartan outfit to Logan made by her very clever Nanny, and I was able to take a few photos at home before heading off to Usk.
Logan truly looked the part in his beautiful red tartan kilt and was more than willing to be my little model for the next hour! He was delighted to find a few chickens roaming the grounds and immediately made friends with a couple of other children also visiting the Castle with their family.
We dodged the odd shower, but it really did brighten up in between to get some stunning shots. I do my best to capture the personality of little ones at whatever age they are. Children change so quickly, so recording moments like these are quite precious.
£65 for up to an hour to include 10 fully edited digital images OR two 6″ x 8″ prints with matching digital files. You can then reproduce if required for family members.
I hope you’ll enjoy seeing a small selection of the photos below from our mini-shoot and I’m sure you’ll agree Shelby, Logan and beautiful mum Emma look fabulous in their pics!
