This week I had the pleasure of meeting four-week old baby William and his beautiful mum Lisa in Blaenavon. Her Aunty Debbie had gifted them this newborn session. At four weeks, this little man is a tad older than my usual newborn sessions. Generally I always suggest a newborn shoot be within the first two weeks after delivery. However, Lisa explained that William had a few issues straight after delivery so was in the ICU for a week. He was still quite jaundiced and it therefore wouldn’t have been possible to do a regular newborn shoot. At four weeks he was already very alert and definitely not very sleepy! He made me giggle as his big blue eyes watched me quizzically as I was trying to pose him. He barely fitted in my basket as he’s already growing so long – keep up the good work mum!
I had great fun recording those tiny details of fingers, toes, ears etc. …. they certainly don’t stay tiny for long!
If you would like to arrange a newborn session for the new arrival in your family, please call 07890 395732. Alternatively, email firstname.lastname@example.org. I have a dedicated newborn page for details of arranging your session. I also specialise in general baby and child photography so please don’t worry if your baby is ‘too old’ for a newborn session.
Best wishes to Lisa and hubby Dan on producing a gorgeous little fella! I hope I get to record him growing in the future!
