Wedding of Amy and Anthony at New House Country Hotel

On Saturday I was delighted to be back at the fabulous New House Country Hotel for the wedding of Amy and Anthony. This gorgeous couple only decided to get married a couple of months ago. They succeeded in getting a date at their favourite venue – and managed to do everything in two months! Infants teacher Amy is a very creative young lady and made loads of things herself. I met Amy and her five bridesmaids in the room where she had stayed the night before. Despite it being a very damp, foggy day, it certainly didn’t dampen the atmosphere inside! The girlies all looked awesome in matching robes before changing into their beautiful rose-gold bridesmaids dresses. Amy was the most beautiful bride-to-be and before we knew it, the time had come to go and meet the registrars.

Amy and Anthony were marrying in the beautiful marquee which looked amazing. The ceremony went off without a hitch and they were soon pronounced ‘man and wife’. It was then time to celebrate! Due to the inclement weather, we had to stay indoors most of the time. The guests (bless ’em) all crowded into the downstairs conservatory for some group photos. T’was a tight squeeze but highly amusing. I couldn’t believe how misty and foggy it was outdoors – there was very little visibility of the grounds behind – but it gave a cool eerie effect!

Reception:

Back up in the marquee, friends and family were treated to a fabulous three course meal. It was then time for the (very funny) speeches which had everyone laughing their socks off. The DJ had arrived to set up for the evening, and it was at this point I left the happy couple to enjoy the rest of their night. As Amy works in education, she is tied to the school term. She was therefore straight back to school this week but will enjoy their honeymoon in the coming months.

Amy you looked absolutely stunning on your wedding day. I wish you both every happiness and hope you’ll both enjoy looking at a selection of your photos below:
